Elpida is building something permanent in Golden Valley and Blanco — a mission that walks alongside children through every season of their growing up, and a physical facility that will carry that work forward for generations.
This is not a short-term programme. This is a rebuild — of lives, of community, of what is possible in a valley that the world has largely overlooked. It rises through consistent presence — every meal, every tutoring session, every youth night, every adult who shows up.
We need people to take hands with us. Not one kind of person, and not one kind of giving. Choose where you fit below.

Tutoring
Maths, literacy, reading
Academic support for ages 6–14. Every level welcomed — one-on-one or small groups.
Coaching
Sport, life skills, mentorship
Youth programme facilitation, sports coaching, identity and belonging conversations.
Practical
Kitchen, gardening, building
Soup kitchen, maintenance, vegetable gardens — hands-on work that feeds and sustains.

Accounting, legal, communications
NPO governance, grant writing, photography, social media, legal advice.

Skills Sharing
Teach what you know
Entrepreneurship, trades, crafts, cooking, technology — share your skills and help build a generation of young people who can build their own futures.
